Dr. Keliddar says it always feels rewarding to help a patient achieve their dental health goals, and she loves being able to do it while working with a great team. Before you meet her in person, you can start getting to know Dr. Keliddar by reading on below.
Dr. Keliddar started her career by working in public health research, and she found that she missed face-to-face interactions. During a dental appointment, her dentist encouraged her to shadow him to see what the profession was like. He greeted patients like old friends, joked around with them, and showed them his favorite gadgets. Dr. Keliddar was instantly hooked by all the fun he was having while providing a valuable service at the same time.
Dr. Keliddar graduated from the University of Virginia before going on to earn her dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She then completed a one-year GPR (General Practice Residency) at a busy neighborhood hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Since finishing school, she has pursued continuing education in functional occlusion (how the bite should fit together) and sleep apnea therapy through the Pankey Institute.
When Dr. Keliddar isn’t at work, you’ll usually find her at home relaxing with her husband and their collie/shepherd mix. She likes to cook, read fiction, and enjoys word puzzles, riddles, and logic games of all sorts.
